20" x 30" / Oil
“Carry On portrays the weight of endurance, capturing figures who continue forward despite emotional heaviness. These works explore resilience not as loud defiance, but as a steady, internal force. They reflect the courage it takes to keep showing up in the world, vulnerable yet undeterred. In their stillness, there is movement; in their softness, unshakable will.
I paint to honor the quiet power of the human form and the emotional weight of everyday moments. Working primarily in oil, I’m drawn to the softness of skin, the way light caresses fabric, and the beauty in vulnerability. My subjects—often women—inhabit a space between strength and introspection, captured in stillness yet filled with presence. Though realism anchors my work, I’m not interested in perfection. I seek authenticity—something a little undone, a little unguarded. Through my paintings, I hope to create a sense of connection, an invitation to pause and feel.”
