Don't Forget to Live

Oil on Wood Panel

When I created this portrait, I was thinking of "Perseverance.'' It's my willingness to keep going and to keep living. This term relates to "Unwavering Resolve". This painting is a reflection on my childhood and the nostalgic toys I grew up with, but also as I move into adulthood, not forgetting to live, like I once did as a child. Not forgetting to find joy in life. It’s also about standing up for one self and remembering who you are and where you come from.”
