“Painting is my medium to make sense of the world around me. It's how I connect with others, deal with my traumas, and express the things I feel that I can't put into words. ‘Surviving in Style’ features a woman who walked through hell and faced it with the courage to keep going. Life is hard, the world is cruel, but there are wonderful people and beautiful moments that make life worth living.
Women often go through life quietly conquering their inner battles while still doing so much for everyone else. By sharing each of our stories, by listening and understanding one another, we become united and have the strength to withstand the blows of life.”
